Currently I have a Blackberry Tourch phone. I love it, but I have friends who say I should get the Apple iPhone! What is the big difference?? I like having a full key board I can feel, having finger nails that are long make it hard to type via the touch screen. With the Blackberry I can do both.
hello Irish!
ReplyDeleteI am a Blackberry Tourch user myself, I believe the theory was that Blackberry use was mostly for business and the use of iPhone was more social. Not exactly sure where that theory came from but it is very common. I love having the keyboard on the blackberry but I find myself hardly using it.
ReplyDeleteI go for the best of both worlds myself. I have the BB Curve and an iPod Touch. The iPod gives me all the super cool apps available on the iPhone, and my BB gives me the Qwerty keyboard to respond to my plethora of emails. By the way, also lots of super cool apps for the BB too. I think that BB has been the major provider in the PDA/Phone market for quite a while. Also the fact that I can keep my T-Mobile service with unlimited data plan, texting and talking to in-network (all my family) for a fraction of the AT&T cost is a huge factor for me.
ReplyDeleteMy vote goes to the BlackBerry!
Hi, I just finished up my blogging for EM820, check out my blog and prezi at www.christinasteele.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteI hope to hear from you soon.
Do you use your phone for work, play, your primary phone, internet connections? Do you really know the difference between 3G and 4G?
ReplyDeleteInquiring minds want to know!!1
In the field of media and entertainment (M&E), the Blackberry and iPhone have become an intricate part of the industry. The communication company Dolbey, has made it a little easier to stay connected and work even faster using the Blackberry and iPhone with its dictation and transcription workflow solutions. We now have the ability to support the mobile dictation applications from Phillips Speech Processing. This provides a wireless dictation tool that securely sends dictations over a network or internet connection. Dolbey has included Fusion Voice and Atom Dictation for workgroups. Both of these platforms now support the use of the SpeechExec for iPhone and Blackberry. It also captures the recorded voice as well as dictation identifiers such as date, time, subject and author! The software is offered to mobile users as a low cost annual license.
ReplyDeleteWell my fellow Blackberry users…the smartphone has fallen into third place in the U.S. according to the ComScore report released earlier this month. ComScore uses the Nielsen research firm which lines up with the market share of usage. Blackberry was the leader in the M&E industry for staying connected. Sometimes referred to as ‘crackberry’ the smartphone is now number 3 behind Apple’s iPhone. The number one smartphone is Google’s Android. According to ComScore about 74.6 million people in the U.S. own a smartphone during the 3 month research period ending in April. This figure is up 13% from the last three month period. There is definitely a marketing war taking place in the smartphone arena!
ReplyDeleteOk so the word is that the U.S. government in Washington is seeing a switch to the iPhone from the Blackberry. Also the iPad has become a major staple in the halls of power. Those in power find the Apple technology more appealing. Congress has permitted the use of iPad and iPhone on the floor. Apple devices are making major strides in areas that were once ruled by RIM makers of the Blackberry. One of the large complaints regarding Blackberry and the government is their lack of ‘apps’ compared to Apple or Android. Will the President give up his Blackberry….stay tuned!!
